Mandanda is genuinely world class. He was the best keeper in France last season and I'm delighted we've managed to pinch him for only £2m. Townsend for £13m is a solid signing as well, he was superb for Newcastle last season and almost kept them up by himself. Benteke was phenomenal for Villa for several years but it clearly hasn't worked for him at Liverpool. I'd love to see him at Palace but the thought of spending £30m on one player is a bit scary.
Either way, a front 3 of Bolasie-Benteke-Zaha/Townsend should be finishing comfortably in the top half.

Steve's no fool botty , he will only pay what we can afford . The trouble with being in this league is that goal scorers cost shed loads of money and up to now we haven't paid it . We are now in a position to pay it and obscene as it is you have to pay for quality . We need two new strikers , if dwight leaves , one of which will be top class .
