Don’t know about that Tim. I think he’s scarred for life after the experienceLike it, hope he had a top time and is now ready for a seat at The Amex?

Welcome back ThrushI’ve been out of the loop for a few minutes.......
Funny, not that I've seen a lot of Mateta I've always thought that he gives Dunk and hard game. He is quick and powerful and clearly with the right service has the ability to score goals, I think he is worth more than your £15 Million valuation.Mateta is the one they need to cash in on.
I thought he was a donkey, but by the end of the season Olise and Eze were making him look world class.
When you add in his young age and his recent success at the Olympics his market value is currently probably about £50m.
However, I still think he's a donkey and would not value Mateta anything above £15m.
If I was Beaky I'd flog him now to Saudi or some other rich fools for lots of money before his true value becomes apparent.
It would then allow them to perhaps hang on to Guehi or Eze.
Cheers splaff.Welcome back Thrush
He's undoubtedly worth more than my suggested £15m.Funny, not that I've seen a lot of Mateta I've always thought that he gives Dunk and hard game. He is quick and powerful and clearly with the right service has the ability to score goals, I think he is worth more than your £15 Million valuation.
Can’t see Kompany lasting the first 10 games to be honest. You’re right they be all over Glasner, or Hurzeler, depending on his start! They seem to be selling people and not really strengthenimg much. A recipe for disaster, be interesting if they’re struggling and Bayern come back for Glasner once Kompany threatens to chin Kane
So far palace have sold 1 player and added 3 !They seem to be selling people and not really strengthenimg much. A recipe for disaster, be interesting if they’re struggling and Bayern come back for Glasner once Kompany threatens to chin Kane
So far! This time last year Caicedo was a Brighton player…So far palace have sold 1 player and added 3 !
We’ve only sold MichaelThey seem to be selling people and not really strengthenimg much. A recipe for disaster, be interesting if they’re struggling and Bayern come back for Glasner once Kompany threatens to chin Kane
If the reported £30m is anywhere near the truth, you'd be MASSIVELY overpaying. He's really not very good. Can't run, and error-prone. If he were English he'd be considered a carthorse.Fulham are after Andersen possibly to put pressure on Villa and / or Fluminense (sp?) as we're also after their RCDs, but the consensus among Fulham fans is that Andersen would be the favourite. He was on loan to us a few years ago and has got even better.

What’s with the rainbow armband?I’ve been out of the loop for a few days , wilf ? Coming back? I don’t think it’ll happen.
Had a top weekend in cologne for my son’s stag weekend and we managed to get tickets for the leverkusen / betis game.
He had to wear an outfit which went down very well with the leverkusen fans who were great, but we got a few strange looks as well.
The outfit must have been a bit much as we all weren’t allowed to stand with the ultras and got moved to the other end

outstanding (with both feet) and he's key to how Palace build out from the back.
Hmmm. I was surprised that anyone wanted Andersen, including Palace. He always looks like a mistake waiting to happen and until the end of last season when the Palace backline was not under a lot of pressure he played like a mistake waiting to happen. But as you say the game is a game of opinions.Football is a game of opinions - but your opinion is a bad one.
It's true that Andersen lacks explosive pace, but he's hardly slow either. He positions himself well, and he's strong in the air. His range of passing is outstanding (with both feet) and he's key to how Palace build out from the back. If he wasn't a very good defender, Fulham wouldn't be trying to pay £30m for him, and Palace wouldn't have rejected it.
