The thing is Palace have not missed him a bit, in fact the 3 at the back have looked great, the fact he started in midfield on Saturday sort of showed that.
All credit to Dougie F, very little loyalty in football but he seems to want to see the project through

Oh Tim, you used to be so balanced. Not so much lately, the old administration jibes are coming out 🙄

Oh I'm balanced, which is why there's a need to remind people of how you've funded limited success in the past.

Palace set to make Jobe Bellingham their next signing of the summer.

Meanwhile, back at the well run club on the South Coast...
Really not bothered about what Crystal Palace do. That way you neither get arrogant nor jealous.

I do feel we need to cover more positions in this window, we saw what happened last season, let's not go through that again.

Palace “confident” in keeping Eze just means your £60m offer needs to be £70m.

They'll overpay for him - he's not particularly good - he's just got a brother that is (really) good

Certainly not as good as his brother but a couple of Sunderland fans I know have been raving about him. At 18 years old he's a very good Championship player with a season and a half of experience, lots of potential.

I'm sure they will overpay though..

Definitely plenty of potential. Let's see what they pay, though.

Olise is the prize, in my opinion. And he’s the one with the release clause. I think he’s off and Eze will stay unless someone goes berserk with the fee.

Urgh.. who cares who Palace sign on a 'Palace Fans Biggest Fear' thread? The last couple of weeks on this thread has turned into 'Brighton Fans Biggest Fear'.. which is all a bit sad imho. May have to ignore this one if that continues.
I agree. This threads gets bounced for sake of it mostly.

Ornstein said that Eze has a release clause too ( but Olise's is not excessive) .
There is also some online chat that Olise's release clause is complicated.
Not sure what that means but he held all the aces when he renegotiated his contract, so probably not in Palace's favour.
