He can finally retire...until the next time Palace need a panic appointment!

That wording "bring forward" ..... I think "re-start their plan to install Glasner" might be more accurate. None of that should deflect from the fact that if this is best for Roy's health then from that perspective, this is a good thing.

If they sell Olise in the summer, as I expect they will as he has a release clause reportedly at £60m, then they probably won’t need to sell Guehi. Decent player and one where I expect they could get c50-£60m. £80m is optimistic.
IF the Jan window was anything to go by I doubt that many clubs have many to spend. It could be a very quiet summer.

Good luck, Roy - 'Old school'! Don't recall any bad mouthing of our club - in fact always quietly respectful of all others in the game.

I'm absolutely adamant their plan was for Roy to be schooling someone in-house.

I can't for the life of me remember who and I really can't be arsed to look it up.
Please someone tell me that was the case and has now conveniently been forgotten.

Roy has done such a great job this season, Palace have been able to "Bring forward their plans" past the point where Paddy McCarthy takes over, is sacked, then Roy takes over again, retires and they bring in Glasner.

Good job Palace.
Impressive stuff

So why isn't Paddy McCarthy getting the job?
