They’re going to need to save up for a bigger banner
I believe they’d put the money aside - ringfenced it, even - and started making that in 2018…?

They had a four year head start on us in the PL, and in the last 2.5 years or so we’ve breezed past them

Tee hee.

I know sometimes we get frustrated by players we’ve sold - but the astute business decision to sell players at their peak and reinvest vs Palace who generally don’t, or they walk for free like Zaha is incredible.

If they had of cashed in occasionally they’d not still be playing Schlupp & Ayew, Tomkins on the bench etc

The young Brazilian they’ve got looked alright when he came on but seemingly Hodgson barely plays him!

What a game that was - the football and defending in general was dreadful from recollection. Was only 14 but recall people attacking Orient players when they went 4-3 up which I’m sure is what Barry Hearn was banging on about getting us kicked out the league for lack of security. Turned out to be an important equaliser in the grand scheme of things
Last game I saw at the Goldstone. Not a bad way to sign off!

I had that same thought, that Tuesday worked well in prep for Saturday. Our win earned Roy a stay of execution, despite it being a typical Roy performance, with us hanging on for the last 20 minutes, and you got a stinker of a performance out of the way. I really hope I am wrong, but I expect a heavy defeat on Saturday, especially if you score early
Have you got next week's lottery numbers please.

It‘s very hard to disagree with that, today was just the icing on your cake.

If we get Olise, Eze and Decouray back before the season ends, we’ll once again be here to argue the point next season.

if we don’t, I’m not sure where the points are coming from under the present management.

You'll do enough to stay up. Sheffield United aren't going to catch you, nor Burnley. You'll pick up enough points here and there (like midweek) to stay clear I'm sure. And anyway - I'm sure most of us don't actually want you to go down - what's the point of a rivalry if you're not playing each other.

Hodgson lying to try and save his job - says that the medical team said Olise couldn't play the first half, but could play the second half. WTF is that? That's not a thing.

Palace were totally outclassed in the first half, and at 3-0 down they were not going to get any points, with or without Olise. Bringing him on was a brain dead decision by a man who's out of his depth. One of his excuses was supposedly that you don't bring someone of Olise's quality to a game and not play him. More BS from a man who used to be able to manage, but is turning into Nathan Jones.

One thing I’ll say is at least your fans seem to all see it - a backward step appointing Roy for this season - and I like the bloke. But just not someone to take you forward whatsoever. You had your 3 best players out in the end - we had many out too but our squad is just much stronger.

Fair fucks to you for coming on here after that. Genuinely. You're one of the decent ones, unlike certified wanker @Dougie

There's clearly some deep issues between fans, players and board at Palace right now. The squad without the three mentioned is so poor, not sure if booting Roy out can change that now. Obv can't judge Wharton and Munoz on today, mind. Would you be happy with Cooper in before your next game? Or even Potter?

And he also said that they 'grew into the game'. What on earth does that mean? We were so dominant that we eased off considerably in the second half but we were still almost completely comfortable. Their goal was good, but no way were palace anywhere near us.
