I don’t believe Conner was the player of the year ?

Not really sure where your going with 5 players out of contract that must be the same at all clubs, and I think at least two of them only signed one season contracts anyway.

All these things are not really fear though it’s pretty standard football stuff.

The point I am making, is not in answer to you, but the original poster who implied the selling of Wan Bissaka was part of a Model in place at Palace.

Over the past 2 seasons you have let contracts run down for a dozen players, you have paid fees for.
It may be standard football stuff. but it certainly isn't a sustainable model.

And that’s why palace and other mid table clubs have pumped money into academy’s, so they can maintain this position for as long as possible. It’s not too different from yourselves

We've had a plan for years though and it's now bearing fruit and got us in a very good position on and off the field.

That must be nearer to 20% more? (even allowing for 11 months instead of 13)

I think it’s 28% if you look at the average weekly ! - forgive my maths …

The Holmesdale Pathetics will like that press release, "Crystal Palace are changing their crest to celebrate the club’s 1861 origins and its historic role in the development of modern football."

Surely the presser should say "fabricate the clubs 1861 origins" rather than "celebrate"?

It really is very tenuous. It was an amateur club and that was created in 1863. It then ceased to exist. The professional club was definitely founded in 1905. Many Palace fans not happy with this nonsense.
Which is nice.

They really are the comedy club that keeps on giving.

They're single handedly creating new levels of tinpottery. I was going to call them weapons grade tin pot but that doesn't do it justice. There needs to be a new word for it.
