No Zaha and probably no Dunk for this year’s fixture. Has this rivalry run it’s course?

I enjoyed posting that as I remember Palace fans making similar comments during our war years.

Being serious, I now get more pleasure beating Chelsea or Villa than beating Palace

Do I need a tin hat?
No but a good kick up the arse might help.

They could be 16 places and 18 points behind us, it’ll still be 1-1 (and on my Birthday!)

Seriously what is happening with the new stand?

Palace fans got excited because Parish said it was starting but nothing has actually happened.

With major shareholders trying to sell their stake there’s a good chance our Fan Zone will be finished before the stand is started.

The difference between our clubs is Brighton have a superb open and transparent relationship with their fans whereas Palace …. don’t

With Lyon facing relegation and a 422m euro debt, Textor needing to bail asap there may be a fire sale for his stake ... given there is no evidence of ring-fenced cash for the new stand, I wonder what CPFC 2020 Ltd will use for the January window?

Heard something quite funny re the RING FENCED cash the other day

Parish etc are eager to get going, but Lendlease won’t start procurement until they see a deposit (naturally), and 'unfortunately' our friends up the road aren't able to even stump up money for the deposit at the moment.

Discussions are also ongoing as to whether the build is even viable if they get relegated ….

A good chance the new women's team stadium being built before they've even started on their tribute to the West Stand.

As funny as that is, if I had to put my house on it, I'd go for our Women's Stadium!

You couldn't make it up .... ring-fenced cash that doesn't exist, a plan that hasn't been financed long or short term, a majority shareholder who wants out almost at any price and a club selling off its' playing assets without suitable replacements ...... enjoy The Championship, and say "Hi" to everyone in Division One as you pass through.

We won't get to the point of administration or a points deduction, I feel they'll be able to manage relegation via the normal means.

Here is a Palace question for you...

What have the following lower league clubs all done that Palace have not ?
Leeds , Sheffield United, Sheffield Wednesday, Bolton, Wimbledon, Wigan, Birmingham City, Swansea, Burnley, Reading, Stoke, Sunderland, Derby , Coventry, Blackburn, Middlesbrough & Charlton.
(a further clue - QPR & Norwich have also done it but it was easier for them)

Administration is pencilled in for when they are in the Championship so they can reform as CPFC2025
