Yes. Most means the larger part. If one were to say 'almost all' then that would be incorrect as £110 million is not almost all of £200 million but it is most. As in 'Which is most, £110 million or £90 million?'
Every day is a school day. I'd have taken "most" to mean the significant proportion of something but it seems it just means the large proportion of something, even if it's just 51%.

To be fair, it was clear from the OP that I quoted exactly what he meant. That's pretty important too even if not strictly accurate. I love pedantry though 😀.

Just imagine Eze to Brighton for £68m, then we sell to Chelsea in January for £115m

He seems to be a massively over-rated player to me.

Very skilfull, but doesn't really produce that much and is massively inconsistent.
That wouldn't ol' Todd from chucking in an offer, skill doesn't normally come into it, just the odd good game and he'll wheel in the cash barrow

By that definition he truly was the Zaha replacement which means he will now sign a new deal to stay at palace for the next 10 years on Ballon d'Or level wages

Brighton factually.....

Speaking of Zaha.....

Not very reliable, but I could see this happen.

I’d imagine that Guehi may go after that. To be fair, he’s been England’s most consistent player so far in the Euros.
Can then pay back most of that £200m loan.
Maybe most consistent but he's hardly been tested defensively bar a couple of routine blocks (one after his own cock-up) But Guehi simply doesn't bring the ball out with any enthusiasm and 99% of his passes are to the nearest teammate usually 10 yards away. Yet we have a CB on the bench with superb stats for doing just that. All because of a risk-averse mindset from Southgate

He does carry the ball out playing for palace TBF, it’s probably the back four have been told to hold positions and keep the ball and pass it out.

You could be writing the same thing about Stones

Dunk won’t get a look in, Southgate couldn’t bring it on himself to do it.

Indeed. It would have to take 3 of the current back 4 to have their legs amputated.

In other Dunk related comments anyone else happen to see the post match footage of the England team walk about? Dunk cut quite the solitary forlorn figure to me with not many of the team engaging with him.

He did his obligatory bit of a couple claps but seemed to be waiting for anyone to come up and have a word with him.

Bet the squad is well cliquey under Southgate.

The players and others say quite the opposite, it’s the most un cliquey England squad.

Dunk might just find getting in the zone is something he prefers to do alone.

I’d guess, for players like Dunk, you know during training and match build up that you’re unlikely to get on and feel a bit side lined. Reading biographies it would seem we had much bigger problems at previous tournaments and we’ve learnt from that.

Today is balance the books day, I’d like to think we’d use it to take future spending back into our good year? For Palace I guess they just need to cling on

So, @loz Galatasaray are now bulking at Mr Tumble's £300k a week wages and are looking to off load him back to Palace, how this guy can justify his wages, or why people actually pay them, is beyond me. What's your thoughts?

I didn't know that Galatasaray had signed 10 Zahas

I would love to see him back but I very much doubt he is in Glasners plans, and Palace have in the past few years pruned the top earners.

He has fulfilled a dream of a champions medal ( I think ? ) and playing in the champions league while earning a pile of money…the boys done good.
