I've sadly given up on the idea of getting tickets in the away end. Considering tickets in the home end ( which ive been guarenteed should i want one )but will probably end up watching it online. Those palace wankers who reckon we are struggling to sell tickets are thicker than their own mothers.

Just so you know, we've had a sell out 'like Cardiff' for every single league and cup game bar our 1st round games in the lg and FA Cup verses Gillingham and Wrexham respectively which both topped 18k.

And exactly where are you!!below us out of the carling cup after embarassingly sucking up to the scousers and struggling to pass little old wrexham. Your shite and your crowds will start to dissappear as the honeymoon period wans.

Yes yes please do register and join us in the Holmesdale.

Is that the only decent stand in the ground, where a few kids in one corner - the Holmesdale Waite Massive I think you're called - jump up and down like pogo sticks and sing a song you ripped off of Man City and claim it as you're own? Yes I think I can do that. Let's have a practice:

We are the Palace, the Palace, the Palace,
Our tickets are available on Groupon, on Groupon, on Groupon,
On matchdays our ground is half empty, half empty, half empty,
Except when we played the Boro, the Boro, the Boro
For that we had 5k, 5k, 5k,
All our fans have gone away, away, away
We are the Palace, the Palace, the Palace,
Our tickets are available on Groupon, on Groupon....

From 1986,yep.........funny from 1947 to 1986 only 4(FOUR) seasons averaged under 10,000.....nope can't answer it either.....30,000 gates every decade(not 1940's) since 1930 to 1980...

They been struggling to fill half the ground all season.

Only three teams with a worse percentage of capacity average.

The police are the reason you are only allowed 2500 tickets, the same number they limited Millwall to.

I know for a fact that isn't true. CPFC decided on the number. The police were happy with the same allocation as we took up there last time.

Are you really bringing up attendances from 88-97 as some kind of mitigation for your poor attendances of late? Weak, weak, weak argument.

How exactly is it weak? You lot love talking attendances. I've (multiple times, I believe) credited the attendances you lot have acheived this season. For the first time in years, they are better. Fair play.

I really couldn't give a shit, but since we're on the subject..I figured I'd ask about those crowds.

So I take it you have no answer? Archer was a crook, but it's not like you lot were turning up week in and week out, were you?

Personally, I care about results on the pitch. And what a result it was on September 27th.

Roll on the 31st.

Really? Attendances from as far back as 24 years ago when even the likes of Arsenal were getting 18,000 odd turning up. What were your attendances like in the 80s and what bearing do they have on attendances a quarter of a century later? Stupid question and you know it and quite clearly you do give a shit. This is a thread about attendances and you've been bothered enough to reply to it. btw - Archer came along a lot later than 88 as well you know as well.

I find this attendances debate tedious too but to justify your lower attendances of late by citing Albion attendances that long ago is just nonsensical.

ANYONE who thinks the football club they support makes them a better person than another person, or the attendances that said football club generate make the club 'better' than that of a rival is (IMO) a complete spacktard.

Let's not forget than less than four years ago we were playing to sub 4,500 attendances at Withdean. Part of the reason was that it was a shitheap, Selhurst (and I am sure Palace fans would agree) is also a shitheap, and that contributes towards moderate attendances there too.

I suspect however that if it wasn't for the behaviour of the neanderthals, and therefore both clubs taking precautions in relation to who they let into the ground, and also heightened security and segregation, then the match would be (or would close to be) a sellout already.

It should also be remembered that for many Palace fans their rivals are now Millwall and/or Charlton, partly due to the fact that we have been so shithouse for the majority of the last 20 years that we have been bouncing around the lower two divisions and therefore not playing our Caravan Weekly reading chums.

This Palace ticket theme is getting rather tedious, does it really matter ? Look at it this way, the lower their attendances, the less money they have. Therefore, the more chance they have of sinking into the abyss we have so recently escaped from.

Just remember that nobody will give them credit anymore, they can call themselves CP2010 or whatever, they are blacklisted as an organization. Lower gates equal lower standards.

I never knew that, I was aware that Leeds were blacklisted by credit card companies for a while after Bates took over, but didn't know that CP2010 were in a similar position.

The things you learn on the internet, it isn't JUST for hard core porn.

They are just a small time club going no where. I expect to see them in the bottom two divs for many years soon, they just have not got the fans to support them in the top two divs.
