The club have known him since he was born , his grandfather was Vice Chairman His uncle is a director. Its in the family blood and TB will be handing the reins over to his son one day.

I think it is repayable IN 19 years, rather than over years. Strictly it is a balloon rather than repayment loan.

However the debt is convertible so unless the club has a huge pot of cash the loan is effectively written off.

Seems an odd arrangement. We'd be literally rolling in cash if that was the case. Probably well over £16m in revenues coming in in year one and 80% of our squad on div 1 wages. Why wouldnt we pay some back?
