Still would not have made much difference to palace if they got same punishment, but how pointless is it giving them a one point deduction, they should have just given them a bigger fine.

Would only have been worthwhile if it was to relegate them, but that would have been extremly harsh unless the player was to have played more than just 35 minutes

Should be deducted next season, these rules need sorting.

In effect they will escape with a £5k fine , as the suspended element of the fine wont come into play. The 1 point deduction doesn't change the league table either.

WTF, surely if the authorities deem it worthy of a 1 point deduction, then it should be off next season. Them losing a point off the seasopn gone, when it makes F-all difference to them is just completely ludicrous.

Where do the footballing authorities do their recruiting? Is it ouside a hospital for the clinically insane?
