So Crawley get deducted four points and Palarse only get one? That is ridicolous, the FA are incredibly stupid.

Different leagues. Different rules.

My understanding was that the Conference rules are non-negotiable with regard to points gained when a player starts a match, but are discretionary if used as a substitute. League rules seem to be that everything is discretionary and there are no hard and fast rules.

Perhaps, like the insolvency deductions, there needs to be a clear set of rules so that everyone knows they've been dealt with "fairly".

Oh, and as usually happens, you blame the FA for something that's nothing to do with them!!

They should hold off on the one point deduction until they finish the season one point into the playoffs or one point above the relegation zone

Yeah, but then we'd get what we get with refereeing. There'll be sympathetic cases that are ruled the same as unsympathetic ones and people will ignore consistency and call for "common sense", asking why there isn't some leeway in the rules for discretion in cases like this, etc.

The rules will never please everyone.
