Bournemouth and Brentford in particular should have narrower points allocations IMHO. In this particular instance so should Palace. They are going to sell out in 2 days whatever way they cut it.

Plenty of chances to build your points elsewhere. Man City tickets are available for anyone that wants 15 points.

I myself have got to 338 points in 2 and a bit seasons. It might look like "pocket talk" on my part but I made the same point last year when I had over 100 points fewer.
I was in discussion with the club about this in January 2024.

A suggestion was made to revise the tiers as follows:

For allocations of 2000 and over (the current system remains):
Window 1 – the allocation (normally around 3k)
Window 2 – 25% of STHs & 1901 (around 6k)
Window 3 – 50% of STHs &1901 (around 12k)
Window 4 – all STHs & 1901 (around 24k)

For allocations under 2000:
Window 1 – the allocation (using an example of 1k allocation – 1k)
Window 2 – double the allocation (around 2k)
Window 3 – 50% of STHs &1901 (around 12k)
Window 4 – all STHs & 1901 (around 24k)

I don't think anything came of these discussions though - one for the FAB maybe.

I get it if you're in tier 2 and only 1 point behind why should you be in the same round as someone with 90 points less. And on the face of it and in this isolated instance it does certainly seem fair.

I believe it shouldn’t be a closed shop. If 2,000 of the most frequent away supporters have secured guaranteed tickets then it is a good thing IMO that those on say, 250 points are in with a “chance” of getting tickets for a match like Palace.
Me and the boy made the cut for Palace but have just missed out for Brentford. If we miss out to someone as many as 100 points lower than us, (Ajax away was a notable example) then so be it, we’ll live.

It isn't a close shop. As has been said often enough, it is possible to get to games to get yourself into the top tier. We just have an element of fans who think they should be able to get tickets for the easy games ahead of those that put in the miles regularly.

Brentford is a small allocation and a good place to go. The only thing in tier 2's favour is that it is Easter weekend and some in the top tier might have family obligations!

What will be impressive here is how many divs still get a ticket

Might be about the same as we’ll probably get a reduced allocation at the shithole

Their capacity isn't 30,000 , so only 10%.

Just looked, West Ham got 2,687, we might get less if there's a bigger segregation area.
Looks to me as if you were both right, as with the four rows at the front blanked out and the very large segregation area to the right of block T (as it appears on our site) i make it a total allocation of 2300 give or take a few. There are also 3 rows blanked out at the back of each block but i am not sure if they are ever released as with the overhanging roof they would have a very poor view - although TBF the same could probably be said about any seat there!

Lower bit will also be crowded with people having moved down from the back as usual……..
