Depends how you define fans. Who knows whether a lot of these people even like football. They are yobs who may well have just attached themselves to the occasion as an opportunity to behave like they do most Saturday nights but without consequence because of their numbers. It’s always been the same and not helped by non existent policing.

Security had been terrible building up to today and from what I witnessed it was the worst. I got in , there were no security at the metal detectors. They also missed groups of 2 going through the turnstile last together. Useless

This thread is a microcosm of the situation that revolves around the England team and it's fans...... Hopes built up then the crushing defeat and then flailing around blaming anything and anyone and lashing out at anyone all because we lost because most people can't take that with any sort of grace.

England fans were fighting at Wembley and smashing up Leicester Square before they’d lost the game though.
