I've found a foolproof way of getting rid of any 'friend' you might be finding particularly annoying.

Just ask them to explain the multiple mortgages taken out by their club.
At that point they seem to have something else to do.

Not so easy to take out any mortgages on a ground you don't actually own though.

Thanks to Uncle Tony...

Having a site for Albion fans literally plastered with threads about a team in another league is a bit sad, si.

"Literally plastered with threads" - this is the only Palace-related thread on the entire front page. And like a Croydonite to a benefits office, you just couldn't keep away from it.

As opposed to an entire section for such threads, perchance?

Like an Albionite to a line, you just couldn't refrain from sniffing your disapproval.

Hold the front page..

I think it's inevitable there will be an unexpected win or two in there, even for a team with a defence as bad as Palace's. Watford aren't very good lately and are on the way down, so I could see a cheery late Christmas gift for Pardiola there. I think they'll draw at Swansea, who are similarly poor. Probably win at Hull though.

Well, if there were thread after thread about say Stoke or Sunderland then maybe, but as invariably they tend to be about you lot, and believe it or not you lot are still our rivals and most of the threads are enjoying your particular situation right now then no, not at all.

p.s. Have you looked at BBS recently? There is an entire sub forum which is dedicated to us, for exactly the same reason.

After a moments thought I've come to the conclusion we really need palace to win on Saturday.
Not just through luck but a proper quality win validating Pardew's team, ethos and ability.

If they get the dry humping we all expect, they may well find themselves in the relegation zone, which in turn my cause their board to use some of that mortgage money to pay off Pardew.
That in turn could spell disaster for NSC as they might, just might, employ a manager who knows what he's doing.

I'm going for one point (a draw against Hull) IF Pardew is allowed to remain at the club for all those games but I reckon if they lose to Swansea (assuming they lose to Citeh) then he's out of a job.

I was thinking what a terrible year 2016 had been, with Brexit, Trump, Bowie, Cohen etc. and then I saw this thread, feeling glad all over now.:)
