Who cares if it is? I'm not RAPING this club by a) taking a hefty wage each week and b) screwing 6,000 fans and 20 teammates over every match by playing like a f***ing retard.

In an hour our home record will be won 2 drawn 1 lost 7. How on god's earth is that acceptable? And guess what - we have 3rd place Colchester coming up next. Well you may as well change the 7 to an 8 now. Heads need to roll BIG TIME.
start going to games then you can comment you tiresome little man

I find reading these extremities superb. I'll bounce this thread in a couple of months when the same players (albeit with Kuipers in goal instead of Smith) are solid and not conceeding many as a team.

To be fair I think the truth is somewhere between the majority of posts on here and Ninja's.

The attitude on here towards the transfer window WILL be different at the start of January, because we're always going to get more points from:

Exeter
Colchester
Swindon
Orient
Wycombe

than

Southampton
Norwich
Leeds
Charlton

Don't get me wrong, McNulty is the only one who should not be worried for his place, but I think it'll be 1 or 2 changes to the defence, not 3 or 4. The answer is not to have a CLEAR OUT every time. Bring in 4 new defenders in the Jan window and we would go DOWN, no question. They'd have no clue how to play together.

I reckon it'll be McNulty and Tunnicliffe + new Centre back and Right back.

while his sentiments may be a bit strong, i think to have a pop at the complete badger for not going to games when he gets a train from manchester to brighton for virtually EVERY saturday home game is a little bit wide of the mark given the apathy that a lot of fans who live within 10 minutes of withdean show towards the club

I REALLY hate it when people say, "why didn't we get an experienced defender on loan" or "why didn't we get a creative midfielder" or "why didn't we get a 20 goal-a-season striker". I blame Championship Manager.

Just checking like, but do you know that in real-life you can't do a search for all players in the world, check their "Attributes" & sign them - all within a few days?

And on creative midfielders, at our level they tend to be a bit lightweight - otherwise they would be playing in the premiership.

You really are a prime arsehole, I'm sure they just love playing sh*t everygame, so a sad obnoxious little prick like you can make such cretinist and offensive comments.

You need to get your fat arse down to the training ground and inform them of your displeasure, I'll came down and hold their coats, I'll also get a shovel so I can clean the mess up afterwards.

I find reading these extremities superb. I'll bounce this thread in a couple of months when the same players (albeit with Kuipers in goal instead of Smith) are solid and not conceeding many as a team. It'll happen, Elphick and Tunnicliffe are going to form a partnership with Whing or Hoyte at right back and McNulty at left back. That defensive 4 will settle down and learn to play together, and we'll have a quality defence. We might get taken apart by a good attacking side everynow and then, but in general we'll have a solid defensive unit and we'll be better for it. All you moaners now are plenty of ammunition, but it won't always be like that. When Mauricio Taricco has worked his genius with them, we'll be solid.

All this talk of "an experienced centre half" is nonsense to me, you're just romanticising a solution. You seem to think someone experienced will come in and we'll be fine, but it doesn't work like that. I don't see the need for one, personally, I think our current crop are good enough and we have too many centre backs as it is. Just a thought, is El-Abd not an experienced centre back? Are you gents suggesting he might be the answer?

EXACTLY MY FRIEND. thats the thing with all u albion fans u slate someone but them become shitbags and when they play well are like aw love them love them. its bullshit and by the way your all great fans you are you lot arent helping the defences cofidence or even the tems confidence by slating them all to the ground. And any of them tossers saying theyll get relegeated. HAVE YOU HEARD YOURSELF!!1

I agree, they are good players individually (Elphick was quality under Wilkins before anyone starts) but need to start playing as a unit. Now that Poyet has some time on the training field I would imagine that is the first thing he will be doing. All this talk about experienced is balls as the saying goes if you are good enough you are old enough.
Personally I think one of the big problems with the back 4 is the midfield. They don't give any protection and you will see players coming forward with the ball when someone should be alongside them not just letting them run.
Having said all that they have to improve because some of the goals recently have been unacceptable and just down to concentration. Also what the hell is going on with Hoyte good before ban bad after ban. Bennett back on the right should be a held as well he never stops running

Did anyone else notice Hoyte when their guy had a free header near the end and Smith made a double save? I was that angry i rang the phone in...

He had about 5 seconds to ge goal side of the bloke in the middle, didn't bother - just ambledbck, then made no atemp to challenge him and ther guy got to the re-bound first.

Prob 10% effort sown

One of the worst things i've ever seen froman Albion player...
