Three of my favourite sports Football, Boxing and Darts attract a really dumb neanderthal type of male, but I have met some good people at all three. Two other sports I enjoy Rugby & Cricket in my opinion create a far nicer and friendlier atmosphere as fans can mix and have a good drink. True you get the odd dickhead public school boy having one too many shandies but I'd rather put up with a pissed up Tim Nice But Dim then some rancid racist council estate scum bag who fingers his sister for a laugh.

i was dragged up on a council estate and ended up on a building site

how many rapist's and pedo's are builders?

the silverspoon brigade are no different, inspite of their bank balance

with the exception of fred west granted ???

After sarcastic singing loyal supporters at the North stand cleared on 84mins yesterday one young man took particular offence and offered some of our louder fans 'outside'

There response was I don't think you'll have time as we're waiting til the end and you seem in abit of a rush.

Made me giggle. Only cocks of the highest order start on their own.

Again but in English this time please.

I to am from a council estate and I'm being highly stereotypical, but there is more than an element of truth to my observations. I'm not saying decent people cant come from that up bringing but I've seen some truly horrible people and families in Whitehawk & Woodingdean where I have lived. And unfortunately when these people come to football it brings out the very worst in them.

You were right, only half paying attention to NSC my mistake. Hope it's better now.

Twats, that's who. Ever seen a rugby crowd in a pub getting all homo-erotic with each other? Ever been to university and seen how the rugger buggers behave?

The OP mentioned Rugby League which is a very different sport, nothing to do with silver spoon Eton types, only played at the stoop but generally in the north, no rich Daddy, and very knowledgeable fans. Generally speaking these people enjoy football as well, other than the diving, which most football fans get annoyed at as well. These players are on an average of £40k a year and are about as close to royal blood as most on here.

Rugby League is what i mentioned as you say - I go and watch Huddersfield Giants a fair bit and can honestly say it is a far better experience in terms of the general people watching e.g had a few beers and a laugh with some Leeds rhinos fans before the last game of the season can you imagine that at Town v Leeds in the football.

Exactly it was in response to someone talking about rugby and silver spoons, which league is far from. I myself have held season tickets at Brighton, Sunderland and at Wakefield trinity rlfc and can say that the RL is by far the best for fans mixing etc, at Wakie we still don't have segregation which is the same at many RL clubs, regardless who you are playing, and that includes Cas! Try that in football especially on a terrace as you get at many RL clubs and there would be hell!

Been to a fair few WWE events in the UK, you don't get many meatheads causing rucks there.

Went with one mate who is beyond pumped, enters all the cage fighting and stuff and he was by far the biggest lad I saw all day, everyone else was the stereotypical nerd with Cean shirts on or a parent, very few people my age and of my walk of life dare go without shame I think aha!

Yeah being 'highly stereotypical' doesn't really get you off the hook for being a bigoted lying cvnt yourself mate!!

LOL! Was about time I updated my signature.

PS. I come from a working class, council house, comprehensive school, background, and totally agree with you! Most of my family and 'friends' despised any form of intelligence, thought you were a 'poof' if you read books, and thought you were a traitor if you wanted to go to Uni'.

Needless to say, I left Lancing at the age of 18, and never returned.

... So many thick, ignorant knuckle dragging Morons as football does.

I quite often go to Crcket and and Rugby League you get a few people there with stpid comments but overall behaviour etc is pretty good but at football my god......... You really do get a different class of nobhead. Swearing at and abusing police and stewards, calling players ***** in front of kids and that's their own players. nearly fighting and in some cases coming to blows with others supporting the same team (Charlton away last season). This is not a dig at Brighton but soem elements of football "supporters" in general I am just saying i have not witnessed this in other sports.

I do often think about that after a day at the cricket. As I'm applauding every boundary the opposition hits, I try to think about how many times I have ever applauded the play of the opponent at the football. While I don't class myself down there with the knuckle-draggers, the football does certainly bring out a different reaction from the very same people. A bad decision at the football, can see me shouting and screaming, whereas at the cricket, I would merely suck my teeth and offer up a little "oohhh, I don't think so."

Not Luton! Thank God
It's because football is our national sport and is ingrained into society. That means that if an area or social class has problems they will be extended into the support for the local football side. e.g. BNP in Millwall

There were some thick cunts leaving early at the back of the north stand that got their neanderthal knickers in a twist when challenged.

It made me despair to be honest. I couldn't believe the groans I heard when we had to play the ball back to keep possession, some people are just morons that no nothing about football. There should be an IQ test handed out with each season ticket form in my opinion.

it attracts dickheads who hate football, dickhead 'rugby boys' from colleges, it attracts dickhead women who know nothing about the sport but go because daddy is rich and has got them tickets for twickenham so they can look at some muscley men.

You are talking complete f*cking arse!
I loved my time playing Rugby at University (all three of them I attended), but I love football as well. Soem people have the intelligence to like more than one sport!
