He's not, mate.

Take it up with Legia Warsaw or Transfermarkt because thats where they played him in 30+ matches and how they describe him (yes - i know he can play RB etc)

i really cant see Potter wanting to be restricted to a 'back 4' all season given his propensity to switch formation from game to game and within games. There is no way he will not want the ability to go to a back three with wing backs when it suits. (ignoring any injury issues) Seems that cover at centre back is now needed imho.

It was due to injuries in their squad and before that he had never played left back. His agent has said in multiple interviews that he is not a left back. He has said himself he is not used to playing left back.
He is not really a left back.

Yes, that's what we all thought was incoming. Turns out he's right footed but he has played there, which is not quite the same as saying he is a LB. Anyway, based on what's been seen on streams so far, he needs a loan out to The Championship, or even League 1, before seriously challenging for a first team place.

It would be a very retrograde step to pick him now ahead of Dunk, Webster or Veltman.

Oh yeah, he’s not touching them. But he would do as a back up and would not let us down if called upon. It would mean all of the white money could be spent elsewhere

Blimey, the Stoke fans are in love with him after one game.

Listening to Albion unlimited on radio Sussex last night, stated Ostigard had signed a new LONG term contract before signing the loan agreement with Stoke ! Hope this is true after reading their reviews.

It's going to be like Ben White and Leeds fans all over again when his loan finishes at the end of the season. Shall we start the "Deluded Stoke Fans" thread already?? [emoji38]ol:
Free Leo Østigård.

He's Stoke through and though.

He must have done. Reading this thread yesterday it sounded like he had one year left and was then sent on loan for that whole year, which simply didn't make any sense!
