Wish I didn't know about this.

.which is a very selfish take on things.

How awful.

"The family of former Olympic coach Oscar García was plunged into mourning as his daughter passed away. The Spanish coach's daughter had been struggling for many years with an incurable illness, which had led Garcia several times to be absent from his coaching duties, saying that this was due to personal reasons."

Cancer apparently
Gutted for him and his family. One of my favourite managers over the past 10 years. Humble and did excellently well with us.

Very sad.

Apparently God & Jesus choose the best / their favourites to take first.
Us old duffers have to wait our turn.
Too young doesn't even begin to describe such a tragedy ...

No parent should out live a child. Tragic.

Awful news. Thoughts with OG and the family.

RIP

How very terribly sad. RIP

I liked Oscar, he always struck me as a decent person who was completely at ease with himself; little did we know. I hope he can somehow find a way through this.

I had had it in my mind there was some sort of character weakness in Garcia, what with his apparent inability to stick with a job, but all along it was strength. RIP.
