Horrible thing it was. Pre Poyet it would have been lost from sight many a time as it merged with the surrounding trees and their Autumnal shades whilst airborne.

I found myself hoping for the sake of his dignity that he was taking part in Movember or some similar charity effort. Because otherwise there is just no excuse for that beard/moustache.

That ball looked like a piece of crap, Like a dirty old pumpkin.

Surely a bad weather ball is supposed to be visable in bad weather it just didn't stand out & they'd have been better off using the whote one.

Must say I thought it was a poor colour for a ball. I think it needs to be a few shades lighter to make it stand out a bit. Must be more difficult to pick out against a dark sky then the yellow version?

Typical marketing ploy that gives little thought to those trying to watch the game from a distance who may not have 20/20 vision.

White or luminous yellow are fine and work for a reason.

That brown ball would be fine if there was snow on the ground, but on a normal pitch and against an autumnal background it is difficult to see...what will it be like when a lot of pitches turn to mud in the middle of winter...great idea!
