Have they set a date? I assume July?

Would be great to have the day off. Can't recall but was Charles/Di on a Saturday or weekday?

Princess Annes' first time round I think was a weekday. As I recall it was my birthday and we got the day off. Must have been 73 or 74 I think.

Sat behind koo stark at the goldstone once in the 80,s, she really was a cracker.

Has anybody heard that Kate middleton may become the duchess of sussex? Which would mean William would be ( or already is) Duke of Sussex, so eventually the duke of sussex will be king of england that should please those on the sussex flag thread the other week.

Anyone else looking forward to the stag do? Harry getting bladdered, nicking an RAF chopper and flying in Nazi uniform to Lanzarote to get bladdered. Could be quality.

A Day off work is class. We didn't even get that when the Queen mum died in bed at 3.00 in the afternoon. The lazy cow.

What you say is completely true - but it was largely also true when they cancelled an entire Saturday's sport for Diana's funeral.

There would be massive pressure to cancel if it was a Saturday from all the various lickspittles, pressure that should be resisted but I'm not sure it will be.

You know what's going to happen. First league game at Falmer...

A funeral is a bit different though isn't it, even if it is for an essentially pointless, media-hugging clothes horse. A wedding isn't that important apart from for the participants.

It certainly won't be like 1981 again, despite the best efforts of the Daily Express no doubt. I predict a rather impressive bout of apathy from the vast majority, to the inevitable disappointment of the tabloid press.

Terribly nice of the Royals to marry trade, don't you think ?

Are they short of a bob or two?

I don't have an especially big issue with HM, I'm certainly no royalist but I don't really object to her. I can kind of see what she brings to the country. Oddly I don't mind Prince Charles or Camilla either.

Can't stand the likes of the Duke of York however, buggering off all round the world at our expense under the pretence of being a "trade ambassador". I have a mate who used to work in his household and he tells some fairly, ahem, interesting stories about him. He sounds like a bit of a twunt to be honest. Even worse are the likes of Princess Michael of Kent, the ones who play on their royal connections for their own purposes despite contributing precisely nothing to the UK.

And no, I couldn't STAND Diana. Didn't wish her dead of course, but she got right on my nerves when she was alive, so no point in pretending otherwise now she's off the scene.

He's a lucky man. I got a lap dance off her for £40 in 2003 before she'd even met him. Christ she's got a great arse
i may have had the same lap dance as you , did she have a few vaggi warts and smelt a little of caviar (note not ordinary tuna but beluga caviar)

That's focking annoying, why can't they have it in the summer? Now we have a four day week followed by a three day week followed by a four day week...

The seaside.
Anyone who works in a big office would be well advised to try to book April 26th-28th off NOW. Due to the two four day BH weekends, you can go away (or just stay at home) for 11 days only using up three days of holiday. Thing is everyone else is going to have the same idea, so get in quick before HR say no-one else can take those days off.
