One player I would be happy for us to make a bid for...

Jason Demetriou. I thought he was the best player on the pitch in two of the three games I saw us play against the O's last season and looked a threat again on Boxing Day when he came on. The only issue is his preferred position is right wing, although he seems to be able to play across the middle. Thoughts?

Why would we want to sign a player who isn't even good enough to get into the first team of one of our relegation rivals? I think we should be looking for something a little better

Ishmel Demontagnac is back in football, but has not had a great deal of luck at Blackpool with a few injuries and lack of first team opportunity. Perhaps he would be worth sounding out? Definitely got the skills to make it, whether or not he has sorted out his attitude is another thing.

Maybe they're struggling because he isn't their first choice!

Forget Demetriou, I'd like to see Gus go back to one of his old clubs and sign Andy Robinson, just what we need at the club.

I'm not sure why Demitriou was on the bench, but bare in mind that we had Murray, Kuipers, Virgo and Cox on the bench for the same game, all for varying reasons.

I would LOVE Robinson to sign.

If we were going for an Orient player I'd rather we tried to sign Mkandawire.

We have absolutely no chance of signing him as he is being watched by the big clubs. I said at least 18 months ago that we should have gone after Sean Thornton at Orient we had the wrong brother on loan.

Funny you should say that, as I thought he played like complete horse-shit at Withdean on Boxing Day.

He has the reputation but barely lived up to it on that occasion.

I couldn't understand why he was on the bench either as he always plays well against us, the little diving fucker!

What has happened to the young player from Worthing who was on trial at a couple of clubs, sorry cant remember his name.

Ah. I think he was a Demetriou as well. Trialled at Leicester, but not sure what happened to him. I am sure our resident Worthing fan will fill us in.

Were you on duty and watching for trouble rather than watch the game he was immense both as a defender and in attack with barely a second between each function at opposite ends of the ground. He was by far Orients MOM.
