I think he only didn't make it was because he spent a lot of time in a full body cast after a health issue. Came just as he started getting games.

That depends on what you call making it. He did play for the Albion, was released & then later signed for Bournemouth. He's still on Pompey's books although unfortunately has a knee injury. He is a League player.

Does Calde not qualify for honorary "one of our own" status. True, the nationality thing, and the previous clubs thing may disqualify, but I have utterly no doubt in my mind that that man bleeds blue and white, pees pure Harvey's best and craps out ornamental seagulls. The day he retires I'll be a heartbroken man, but I can still see him linked with the Albion for years to come in some capacity or another

I can recall standing close to the dugout at a Whitehawk County League game when then manager Ian Chapman asked if anyone knew the West Ham score .
