Steve regularly attends home matches and sits in front of me in WSL. Not seen him for a while though so may have moved seats.
Sure Simon Roger was one of us as a supporter, but played for them up the A23, also for some reason Stuart Munday rings a certain bell.

Yes, was just about to suggest Solly. Born in Eastbourne, grew up through teams in Lewes, and his dad Steve was apparently an apprentice at the Albion in the 80s.

That doesn't really mean anything though, does it? I was a "Liverpool fan" when I was a kid (growing up in Eastbourne), because they were the most successful team at the time (late seventies). My dad wasn't into football, and no other relations were either. However, by the age of about 12 I was becoming more aware of the Albion, and once I had been to my first match in 1981-82 that was it.
There was an article about Chappers in the Argus a few months ago where he describes himself as an Albion fan (and as has already been mentioned on here, he has two season tickets at the Amex and his daughter goes most weeks). He also told how he had a number of opportunities to leave the club when he was younger, but he wanted to play for Brighton.
Sounds like an Albion fan to me. I'm sure there are many on here who have had dalliances with other clubs as a kid, but when s**t gets real, we bleed blue and white.

I'd say that allegiances before the age of about 12 need to be discounted unless they're still the same now. Kids support whoever is winning or whoever they're told to by fathers/brothers/friends/etc.
