I came across these whilst looking for something else, but can't for the life of me remember when I took them, or at which game. Anyone out ther with total recall?

Connor, Wilson, Penny - so you're looking at 83-87. Other team looks like Palace. Bright day.

Maybe one of these:

1 Apr 1984 Brighton and Hove Albion v Crystal Palace 3-1 League Division Two
15 Sep 1984 Brighton and Hove Albion v Crystal Palace 1-0 League Division Two

Smillie in the first image, I think.

Left in 1985, so narrows it to 83-85

Those shirts certainly look like Palace shirts to me

BHA 1 Crystal Palace 0 15/9/84.

Sunny day, shirtsleeve crowd. East Terrace packed as North was closed to put new roof on.

Frank Worthington in 1st picture, he didn't join until summer 84.

Who is the Albion number 7, at the bottom of the first picture?

Kieran O'Regan?

My Dad took some video footage of inside an empty Goldstone the week before the Donny game, and then the day of the game, outside as we queued up.

I have a horrible feeling my ex brother in law copied over it with footage of a pub band in Norfolk. HEATHEN!

I'm hoping I do find it though, would be great to look back at.

I believe this was taken at the Goldstone in either the 1921/22 or 1922/23 season.

The gentleman in the military uniform in the second row, a couple in from the left, is my great-grandfather. :)

Unless I’m being whooshed he’s not a Rovers’ fan, that was held up simply to show which game was being played. All the old photos of the crowd have them.

I'm taking a Southampton sign on Saturday then, keep the tradition alive !
