I have to say that the cost both financially and timewise skipping around the city to take the 'now' photos is becoming prohibitive.

I feel really bad about derailing one of my favourite threads with bad puns but at least they were related to the topic.

The very first time the word "Psychobilly" was used to build his Psychobilly Cadillac, a song about his time in Detroit working on the assembly line and folks stealing bits to build their cars at home, something the wife's family actually did although not a full car.

That's interesting- never knew. I thought it was an 80s invention. Every time I see one in Brighton now, I wonder if it's you! I used to be into the rocking scene and The Cramps are my second favourite band of all time.

There's a guy who does great restos on the Roots group cars. Think he was featured once on Bangers and Cash. I was looking to buy an old 60s Jag last year so I was watching a lot of auctions online. the best rapiers go for nearly £20K restored. Beautiful car tho.
