Come on dave - if we'd taken that view over the last five years, I doubt we'd even have got this far. We've come too far to let this rest now, those bastards CANNOT be allowed to have the last word. If we can whip up enough public opinion against LDC over the coming weeks, if there is enough of an outcry from their OWN constituents, then maybe we can make them think twice about pursuing this course of action.dave the gaffer said:anyway why bother? They have made their decision, they know how we feel anyway, and we might as well wait for the decision again....after all we have waited for 5 odd years.

Gotta be worth a shot.
dave the gaffer said:Yeah but no but yeah but, before it was aimed at trying to influence a decision from the givernment to give us a stadium, this is a council which has taken a democratic decision to challenge that ruling....to all intents and purposes its is nothing to do with us is it?
I come back to my point,,,the council know our feelings as do the people of Lewes. The council believe that this is a matter of principle, ie building on ANOB...that is their main gripe....however much marching and hassle wqe give them it aint going to chnage their view
Wait for the decision I say
Man of Harveys said:That is fatalism at its worst and with that mindset, IMHO, we'd have had no club after 1997 and, I reckon, no Falmer permission up to now. "Oh well, it's Archer's ground to sell I guess, there's not much point in boycotting a match or marching in the street is there, he's hardly going to listen is he" etc etc.
You stay warm at home if you like - meanwhile I'll be making sure that people realise how strongly we feel about this.
Let's evoke the spirit of Fans United! We will win.
dave the gaffer said:What concerns me and hasnt yet been explained is why Eric Huxam came on the radio and said that Prescott had over-ruled three inspectors, I know the first two were against but I didnt know the third was.
