What concerns me and hasnt yet been explained is why Eric Huxam came on the radio and said that Prescott had over-ruled three inspectors, I know the first two were against but I didnt know the third was

Prescott didn't overrule the third inspector, because there was nothing TO overrule. The third inspector was not there to make any recommendations one way or the other. He oversaw the proceedings and wrote up his report detailing the evidence presented on the alternative sites, but it was not in his remit to recommend a 'yay' or 'nay'.

Anyhoo, back to your original point. Its not so much letting the Lewes residents know about OUR feelings on this, as you say, they probably know already. Its more a case of ensuring that they are fully aware that their council is quite prepared to tip a barrowload of THEIR CASH into a legal black hole on the offchance that they *might* be able to get the Falmer decision overturned some way down the line.

THAT is what we need to be forcing home.

Well, I'm sure many of them are. But not all of them read the Argus. Some of them might not even read NSC !
I want as many of them to kick up a stink as possible, and we can only do that by making as many of them aware of whats going on as possible. This is a MASSIVE issue for us, but I'm not going to take it for granted that everyone in Lewes is as aware of what is occurring here as we are. If we're preaching to the converted or telling them how to suck eggs then fine, but lets make sure we try to stir up a bit of ANGER amongst the passive souls who arn't as up-to-speed with this whole sorry saga.
