It's a flukey ricochet just like the 3rd Athens at home goal was when Steel was in goal and used his hands.

Sometimes it's just bad luck when you are a keeper
Bet Burnley fans wish Trafford had been in goal today :lolol:

For once we got lucky at the other end of the pitch, if their keeper hadn’t made that howler we’d have lost.

Blaming Bart for us being so shit is missing the point. We were not winning that game from open play or a set piece even if Bart had saved the goal

Context is everything. Then I wrote “but” ironically, but you’re probably too dim to know that 😂. Bart f***ed up we all know that. He’s made you Bart bum boys look stupid.
Er, OK then.

Worthing
It would have been a handling offence due to the back pass, hence the reason for going with his feet
Until I read this thread that aspect hasn't occurred to me at all. However it's clear that Bart couldn't use his hands.

So I get called all manner of things for a genuine post and you pick me up on one thing which I didn’t mean in that way ? Laughable.

My guess is you got infraction points for homoohobia (quite rightly too). Of course it's time we adrressed womble discrimination in all its forms, so hopefully this will get added to the infractions list too... But it may take time.

Sorry, but I’m not seeing your point.

You think he can’t have picked the ball up, I get that. But what’s the issue with him using his hands or body to block the ball with the attacker coming down on him?

Or you don’t think it was an error?
No, he could not have used his hands. Also, with him bearing down on goal like that, if he had used his hands, it could have been classed as denying an obvious goal scoring opportunity. With no penalty awarded, Bart could have been sent off.

We don't "think" we know he can't pick ball up! How does he block the ball with his hands exactly and it's not hand ball?

Would it be not far easier for you to just admit you simply forgot the rule that he can't pick up the back pass?

Everybody needs to be honest here. If Steele had let a goal in like that you’d all be moaning and that’s a fact. Cowards.

Some of us have managed thousands of posts without using inappropriate insults, and only insulting in jest, It can be done.

Yes, we would. I think Bart has a long way to go, but the potential to be better than Steele is clear. I think playing Steele so much has been very clever, it showed us the alternative. Because you're right, if Bart played every week and made some of these mistakes every game he'd be getting pelters. But as we've suffered Steele we know the alternative is no better, and this gives Bart time to grow without being over criticised.
