Official Thread: ***Plymouth Vs Albion*** Discuss it here

Although I only got to hear the last ten or so minutes of the game, from all the comments, this is very much two points dropped. Plymouth sound very lucky to have had eleven men still on the pitch at the end....

The corner quietly rusting
Just seen the goals on Sky sports news
That OG what a corker perfect lob of the keeper any striker would be proud.

The butters goal well he did a little more than stand there.

The Knight goal, i could have scored from there.

Their first bad defending, again from a set piece sort it out coppell

Their second good header Roberts made a spectacular dive justas the ball hit the net, more fro the cameras than an effort to get at the ball.

Their 3rd more bad defending ball should have been planted out the friggin ground.

Our goals, all 3 of them shoddy defending maybe a draw not so bad after all would have preferred to be top though.

I ALWAYS REMEMBER STEVE COPPELL SAYING, WHEN HE WAS AT BRENTFORD, "MY GUYS CAN SCORE BUT THEY CAN'T DEFEND"

ADAMS AND TAYLOR WOULD NOT HAVE ALLLOWED THIS TO HAPPEN!

WE ARE NOW WEAK ON SET PIECES!

DID WE EVER DECEDE 3 GOALS THE LAST TIME WE WERE IN THE SECOND?
OH YEAR ONCE AT BRENTFORD.

TODAY RESULT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN WINNING THE LEAGUE AND THE PLAY OFF'S.

Just this minute got back in 3hours 30mins, dropped Italia off home.
Nice Ground.....No Fans! Is What I have to say about my first away game for 10 years! Good gathering of the stripes by us and many regulars on here were spotted.
As for the match, well we did'nt play that great, Harding/Mayo seemed destined to hoof it down the left wing whenever they got the chance....Knight looked quiet although Butters & Cullip worked their socks off.

Shoud've taken all 3 points in a scrappy match they either team could've won - they hit the post twice in the second half.
Own goal was funny...somehow managed to lob his own keeper from 35yards out! Butters header was a scrappy goal and Leons finish was made by Hendersons good box skill!

Overall we can play better when we get it down and pass it around, but theres still too much hoofing left over from the Luton match. We need Ivar back alongside Cullip as although Butters is doing well I feel we still miss someone better alongside Cullip.

Thats it from me, I'm gonna go eat something

Edit: oh and the ref was shocking!

? COPPELL GOT STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES, HE'S GOT GREAT CONTACTS, CAN SPOT GREAT PLAYERS BUT .......HE IS A KEVIN KEEGAN ON DEFENCES.
I WOULD LOVE TO BE PROVED WRONG.

AS IT IS I THINK THE BOYS WILL START GELLING SOON AND TIGHTEN UP THE DEFENCE THEMSELVES.

I REMEMBER CHESTERFIELD, IT WAS LIKE THEIR CUP FINAL,
WHAT WERE THE OTHERS?
I KNOW WE THREW THE 3 POINTS AT SWINDON(1-1) COS OF TAYLOR....

A point away is a good result.Would have taken a point before the game. They are the best side we have played so far.
We have thrown away 2 goals leads before. Going ok.
Why do we always have to knock our side ?
Yes we were 3-1 up but Roberts made 2/3 great saves and they hit the woodwork twice.A draw was a FAIR result.
They should have had the guy sent off when he rugby tackled Henderson, after that they seemed to get going again.

Only just got there on time. Somehow it took 6 hours. Then throw it away and feeling a bit down. Didn't know what to say really. No time to think about. If we had won I would have been all happy and ranting. :D
