@Bob! Bit of a scare but you managed it well (maybe should have gone to the Doc earlier) and glad you're now being watched.
My schoolmate triathlon rival was unable to drink for 2 weeks before Xmas as on antibiotics for a tooth abcess. Made up for it Xmas Day. Obviously woke up feeling rough but by lunchtime decided an A&E visit was needed. Triage put him on a trolley and a drip immediately. Had all the tests same as you. It was AF. Given Beta Blockers for life and told to stop all competitive sport and cut out drinking binges. He has since jogged, done 25 mile bike trips and will swim when it warms up.
I'll see him at or before Grimsby and will give you an update. The problem for me is I have to do another tri on my own to be able to say I WON in 2023.
He's done an Iron-man in 12 hours and eats up mountains on a bike, so I guess It's not activity related. Good luck.
