4 miles July, 25 miles June, 30 miles May and just the marathon and Adur20 in April.
Finally paid the price for lack of training with a hard 23:42 at the Prom. Went for slow tempo 7:49, 7:45, 7:25 and a sub 6:00 run in.
Time to add some 8:30s into training and build up mileage.
Bit of a 'great minds think alike' thing going on here. I too did a Long Slow Run today - my first and furthest (10 miles which for me is like an ultra) of the year. Unfortunately my knees are complaining in a big way. I've not had a bad year in that I've kept going and hit a consistent 70-76% (usually depending on the course) range in 5ks but the body keeps reminding me that it's not getting easier. Welcome to the 60s!
