This is Belle, she will be joining us in about 6 weeks time.
Sadly, we were unable to take Belle as she had some health issues and the breeder decided to keep her.
However, we are soon getting Bluebell, the black puppy in the attached photo.

Anyone else had grass seed issues this summer? The state of the pavements round me is disgraceful.

I know at least three other owners who’ve had to have seeds removed. Yesterday it was Frankie’s turn. Sedated just to find it was an infection rather than a seed. £355 later (luckily insured except for the first £99) he’s shattered and clingy this morning. Anyone got any confidence the new council will sort this next year?

We don't have a dog anymore, but there's been an explosion of false barley grass up our way which is causing a lot of headaches for local dog owners. The Council have thoroughly embraced not mowing big areas of parks and verges under the guise of rewilding the borough, as it also saves them a shit load of money. I get it and understand it, just means dog owners have to be much more vigilant, more stringent checksfor seeds after walks.

All adur have done is chop down trees. Have to keep dogas off the verges. The roads and verges in Romania were better kept when I was there 24 years ago.

Yep, our bill was a bit more than yours, but involved out-of-hours procedures. Drains are now out and not 'dripping blood/puss/muck' at present, hopefully we can take the old towels up tomorrow and put through the washing machine. With huge thanks to B&HCC (bar-stewards!)

She is our fifth Labrador.
We have previously had a Daisy and a Primrose, so my wife thought it would be nice to keep the floral theme going.
We’ve had four, including three together at one point. Fantastic dogs - yours looks gorgeous - the one black one we had(Barney) was the happiest dog you could imagine - very sadly we lost him age 9 to a perforated spleen - horrendous - after which Mrs. Corner said no more dogs - it was too heartbreaking when they left - two more since then - the last of which is our first rescue and our first other breed - St Bernese!!

Yes, it's devastating when you have to say goodbye
We lost Daisy to cancer when she was just 5 years old, but the others lived to between 12 and 15.
