A large piece of metal fell to the ground when the AT&T stadium roof was being opened before tonight's game. Thankfully no injuries.

Cowboys literally falling apart this season.

I was staying in London last night so finally got the chance to visit The Fitzrovia Belle in Tottenham Court Road - home of the London Bills Backers. Well over 100 Bills Mafia in attendance, mixture of locals, ex-pats and visitors from the States (including actor William Fichtner, who everyone seemed to be very excited to see even though Iā€™d never heard of him!). What a game to be there for, the place erupted when Josh Allen did his thing on 4th & 2 to put the game beyond KC and end their unbeaten record.

Looks like a good time, the stadium was absolutely rocking last night, the absolute joy and mayhem after Josh's game winning touchdown is the stuff that we all dream of at live sporting events. So many times we go and don't experience anything like that, but when it happens it's incredible.

We beat the 49ers! Amazing! Even if we aren't good for the playoffs this year, that's a sweet victory.

Great win, defense was on fire and offense did just enough to win. Hats off to Geno, people always question him but somehow he makes plays when it matters.

Hopefully we can find more consistency in second half of the season and maybe sneak into the playoffs. NFC West is wide open, all teams within one game, pretty crazy more than mid-way through the season. We play two of the next three against Arizona so could take control of the division if we win both. Jets in between is also a winnable game. They are far from what people expected them to be with Rodgers. But then again we lost against the Giants at home so nothing is a given with this team.

That Giants loss is still bothering me (they are just a bad team and if we narrowly miss out on the playoffs I'll blame that loss) as is how we lost against the Rams in OT. We could have been 6-4 or even 7-3.

Nothing wrong losing against good team like Detroit, SF or Buffalo. How we lost against the Bills is another thing but in the end W/L is the only thing that is important. And now that we had our revenge against the Niners I can forget that ugly home loss (especially 1st half when we didn't show up) against them too.

For some reason we also play better on the road (3-1) than at Lumen Field (2-4) this season. We really have no home field advantage in recent years. After going 7-1 at home in 2020, we are 15-16 in home games since 2021. And we even struggled in some previous seasons, for example we had a 4-4 home record in both 2017 and 2019 (and 7-1 away in that season).

One of the reasons is probably because we became a much more pass happy offense and let Russell cook rather than have a great defense and running game like in LOB and Beast Mode times.

Hopefully Macdonald will in time go back to that early Carroll's years but ofc do it his way. We already have some pieces to build a good to very good defense but will probably need another offseason or two to bring in "his" players.

I like some mid-season moves too. We quickly moved on from offseason LB signings (Jerome Baker, Tyrel Dodson) who coach Mac was clearly not pleased with and brought over Ernest Jones in a trade. He played well so far and will only turn 25 in a few days so if he'll continue to play like this then I think we'll find a way to keep him long term like we did with last year's mid-season trade acquisition Leonard Williams. Will have to re-watch the game but I think rookie Tyrice Knight played solid too. And then ofc Witherspon had probably his best game so far. Really excited to see him developing in MM's defense. DL is also a lot better when Murphy plays. Still can't believe we got him where we did and excited to see his progress in coming years.

And offensively we need to improve OL if we want to get the best out of Geno and offensive weapons we have.

KW3 missed a few games but I think he has been under utilised in a lot of games. As for WRs JSN is already taking over the Lockett role and sadly I think this could be the last season for Tyler in Seattle. Unless he'll take a team-friendly contract to stay around as a (stil very reliable) WR3 which he is at this point. But I think he could also consider retiring in his early thirties while still relatively healthy and focus on his other job as a real estate agent. I like DK but he'll want a new contract in offseason and probably be paid as a top 5 WR in the league which I don't think he is. So no idea what will happen with him either. But we'll think about that in a few months.

But as said main focus should be on the offensive line. Mostly in offseason as not much can really be done at this point but to look for internal solutions. Center Connor Williams suddenly retired a few days before the Niners game for personal reasons but he never looked comfortable after returning from a torn ACL. Had some very bad snaps in recent games. I think Olu Olu was solid against SF and will probably get a chance until end of the season to prove if he can be a long term solution at the position.

Right side of the OL was an ever bigger mess so far. Bradford is just not good enough so hopefully rookie Haynes will get his chance at RG and we had injuries at RT where we used four different players. Abe Lucas is now finally back (did well against SF) and will hopefully stay fit and solidify that side of the OL. But with his injury concerns should definitely look to either draft or sign a RT in free agency. We've signed George Fant as a swing tackle but he's been out injured most of the season so can't really count on him either.

Not totally convinced by OC Ryan Grubb yet but he did great for Washington Huskies (college team I support) and he's still learning at the NFL level so will give him more time. I think fans should be patient. At least I didnt' expect much from this season results-wise but wanted new coaches to implement their system and evaluate the squad. If we can get to the playoffs at this stage then we are on the right track but there will always be some up and downs.

Looks like even the roof didn't want to see this Cowboys team anymore, lol.

The Dallas losing streak is its longest since a seven-game skid in 2015, and the Cowboys dropped to 0-5 at home. Dallas is the first team in NFL history to trail by at least 20 points in six consecutive home games, including last season's wild-card playoff loss to Green Bay, according to Sportradar.

Indeed! Great news to wake up to! Weird that we've only had three wins all season - but two of them have been against the Steelers and the Ravens!

Anyway, wow, yes, a win against the Steelers, Chubb scoring the winner (after we looked like brownsing up a 12 point lead), and a snow game. I do like a snow game. Great start to the day!

Going to a snow game in Cleveland or Lambeau is bucket list stuff. Mind you, not many chances left in Cleveland now they've got plans to build a dome šŸ¤¦ā€ā™‚ļø šŸ˜©

Great result for Cleveland...

I remember, the couple of times I saw them at home, the 'Fu(k the Steelers' T-shirts for sale outside the ground and always regret not getting a couple...
