Sad news. Often a Bedlam offering on sale at The Foghorn. I notice they're still taking orders on their website.
Yep, some ok / good beers. Wasn’t convinced in the business side , their crowdfunding effort was quite weak and the business plan was stupidly ambitious IMO.

This is a little odd as they are currently recruiting for their new bar in Haywards Heath due to open next month.

Sounds like a pre pack - brewery will be picked up but the bar is separate
Yes found this post by them on Facebook :

The beer brand has been acquired by a new company so will continue although the new outlet in Haywards Heath is actually being developed by a different entity, albeit with close ties to Bedlam.

Interesting reading about Hophead moving to Chiswick. @PILTDOWN MAN - please can you get it sold at Craven Cottage instead of the gassy bilgewater Camden 'Ale'? I prefer Hophead to Harvey's Best now as the latter gives me an explosive hangover after 3 pints.

Asahi have not until recently got involved with sport. Now they sponsor Brentford, Man City, London Irish, Harlequins, London Marathon and Grand Prix

That's business these days, a failure in business used to be a thing if shame, now its an opportunity to asset strip and write off debt and start again.... LBC has regular " happy " sounding adverts these days saying " did you know you write off almost
82% of your debt ? " ... so, looks like tge bew oeopke will cherry pick the recipes and those owed money will just have to lump it.

Possibly of interest to any Berlin based beer lovers 👀

Thank you.

I know this bar very very well. Sadly I’m busy when it’s on. Good news they’re getting noticed abroad. There was also the Fürst Wiacek collab

Seems BBNo are about to do a Bedlam style administration, not surprised given how much they have been pushing sales of cheap mixed cases recently

They were a good brewery and around in the very early days. I lost track of them quite a long time ago, so have no idea what they got up to in the past 7 years or so.

Free to get in.

Unlikely to be any Bedlam beer as they are still taking online orders but don't appear to be fulfilling them.

Worthing Tap Takeover this weekend. Some excellent breweries involved in some excellent independent venues

Maybe not craft beer, but one of these this evening at 6.8% is just perfect…

One to sit down cast to a big screen and enjoy.

First impressions from the introduction is that this is going to be focussed on the presenters, which is not the case. It shows you around the Burning Sky operation in Firle. Beautiful setting and an insight into a brewer driven by perfection the ingredients, process, technique and variety stand out. The only thing missing for me was seeing the coolship in use.

There is a second part to follow filmed in the Evening star in Brighton.
