Obviously I know nothing in the scheme of things, but this comes as a surprise to me. Goal scoring winger converting to wing back seems just our kind of player, learning his trade well at Hull. £700k seems even more of a steal than BDB at £13m to Newcastle. If it happens, maybe a sell on fee or perhaps others are ahead of him and another £700k in the bank is regarded as a good return by the club. as I say, I know nothing, but I'd like to understand this one a little more if it happens.

I’d say 700k is a fair price. I can’t imagine we ever sell a young player without a sell on clause.

Does seem on the low side but I don't know anything either

Tolaj gets squad number 17 and a place on the bench for Cambridge Utd’s league one fixture away at Bolton tonight.

Tolaj played the final 25 minutes, Cambridge lost 2 nil.

From what I’ve read he did ok and put himself about when he came on. But with the FA cup, EFL trophy and a cluster of leagues fixtures in recent weeks, this was probably one game too far for Cambridge.

Hopefully he will get some more minutes in the FA cup 4th round vs Luton on Saturday

Ah, this is where Weir is too isn't it? Looking forward to more updates.

Yes. Unfortunately, Weir has been injured for some weeks so hasn’t featured. Hopefully they can both get on the pitch together at the same time before too long.
