Do we have an extra "bay" to the east stand steelwork? Yes I think we do - I make it nine executive boxes (for want of a better term) now.

I'm quite new to this, but in the 9:00am shot from this morning, is the builder bloke taking a piss over the edge?

but the trench must be 10 feet wide, surely you don't need all that for a 3 foot high wall!!!

Here's some photos as promised. First 2 are of the south stand shear wall founds (the 2nd one having just started last week). The rest are of the East Stand.

Had to get these in today because if Albion win tonight I'll be off-line tomorrow due to emotional problems :US:

Beautiful. Thanks NJ.

You don't get the scale of the shear wall foundations with the webcam.

For those who are going tonight. (are you going NJ) Make sure you do a little song for our very own NatterJack.

A bit o/t NJ but how badly are you going to beat us tonight ??

I've a sneaky feeling it'll be a shit draw game and we'll edge it on penalties (our GK saved his first one EVER last saturday!)

Were missing some key players from midfield (Bodde, Allen, Pratley) so now may not be a bad time to play us :nono:

stoo82 - no, not going. I hate the M25 with a vengance and can only manage it twice a week or I'll lose my sanity

Exactly, looks like you can only see HALF of the founds on the webcam.

Weird question: will there be a big moment when suddenly those foundations for the roof all become load-bearing, so when all the stresses and strains from the weight of the fall (hopefully!) into the right place? Or is it something that gets built up gradually? Sorry, I'm obviously crap on the technical terms of civil engineering and what not, hope you see what I mean.

When they built the roof on the San Siro in Milan for Italia 90 they showed the hoisting of one massive girder into position live on telly. This is much more important, obviously.
