I've got goosebumps just reading this thread.

BB, you are absolutely spot on. The family stand where I was with my 9 year old went absolutely mental and I dare say we won a few young fans that night. An unforgettable game. I'm sure that next day in schools all across Sussex, Albion supporting kiddies could at last take TOP bragging rights over their plastic supporting friends.

This has gotta go NSC Gold. For posterity, like.

Honduras
Just want to add my congratulations to the players, staff and supporters. I've been living in Honduras for six years but still faithfully follow Albion developments. All my Honduran friends know a lot about all things Seagulls and we certainly celebrated the night away. It made the front pages of the sports newspapers here (although rather amusingly they translated seagulls as eagles). Let's hope we can get to the final!!

I think Wednesday night was the first proper night that my son appreciated the joy that Brighton FC can bring to your life. He has been to loads of games home and away including the play off final but I think he was a bit too young to really get the full joy then.

For the first time in his ten year old life he could hold his head up high in the playground and tell his friends all about the super seagulls. Happy, happy days.:ascarf::ascarf:

Wow we really have gone global! I hope you will be writing to the sports editor about the Eagles error though

First thing most of my football loving mates have said, some of whom i havent seen for months, is about the Albion result. They even know I was there without me telling them, and everyone is jealous of me being there. These are all Prem fans/Championship fans, think many will want to come and sample Withdean for themselves though.

Best moment was on Thursday in a club in Eastbourne, bloke walks in in his Albion shirt and we just go mental singing all the chants chatting about all things Albion etc. Really is a fantastic time to be a Brighton fan, lets keep the momentem going this afternoon then. :)

Under your skin.
Why is this not Gold yet?

So we can bounce this thread.

2 years ago today I was blood excited. The thought of seeing some of the biggest names in English in football play at Withdean. Brilliant day, converted a few of my mates!

This.

Me and my best mate got there, and were buzzing. Sat in the Family Stand.

My favourite albion game ever, although Saints away .ast year, and villa are a close second.

Running on to that pitch. Jumping on Elphick and Kuipers, hero's. Absolute heros.

You were so right. Walking in to school, and only being in year 10 meant i had to wear my uniform but the pride of singing sussex by the sea, and telling everyone what it was to like, you know. BE at the club you support instead fo folllowing it via sky, was just so good :albion1:
