Another true legend departs....may not have been blessed with the skill of some of the others, but he gave his all for the club over his years with the club.
Thank you Charlie..we will always remember you!

Not unexpected but I hope the club have the decency to grant him a testemonial match.

I would love to see that happen. Him coming clean over his reading showed he is far more than just a 'great character' to have around. I hope he continues behind the scenes and the club and he look after eachother.

Sad news. I wish him all the best in his new role. As others have said, his ability was limited, but when he arrived at the club he provided what had been missing for many years in the team: backbone. For that reason alone he played no small part in two successive promotions, and I will always remember him fondly.

He is going to work in the Football in the Community scheme.

I am sad it has come to this but agree with other comments that we have had some great moments with Chas over the years. His dvd Charlie's diary of the playoffs was hilarious.
It is good that he has a job with the club and I know he will be a great success with it because he is a people person.

That had to be far and away his best goal ever for the club.Good luck Charlie the dressing room wont be the same with no charlie in it.
