The Living Daylights.

The most accurate Bond portrayal and realistic plot. Plus we get a reference to Smersh, who were scandalously overlooked in the earlier films.

Boring By Sea
And here is the best/worst death of a Bond villain on film to date.

I don't do Bond films, one film made 21 times with different actors in it.
Baddie threatens planet.
Bond saves planet.
Bond s***s a few birds.
The end.

The Troubadour
Die another Day was definitely the worst Bond film of all time, I stumbled across it on TV a month or so ago and having seen it only once on its release had forgotten how woefully bad it was.

A View To A kill.

Two reasons the theme track was stunning and part filmed in Amberley where I lived for 9 years.

Good film, only tainted by the fact that Roger looked like he was from leather by then, heavily made up to try and hide the fact he was knocking on sixty.

Wherever The Mood Takes Me
Gone for The Spy Who Loved Me. For me it has the best of everything. Best Bond, best Bond girl, best car, best villian and one of the best theme tunes.

I love The Living Daylights as well and also I rated Skyfall quite highly.

IMO there are very few bad Bond films.

I find the fact that anyone voted for Moonraker or any of the Daniel Craig ones pretty funny in itself but the fact that three people voted for Quantam of Solace really worries me

Goldeneye is my favourite Bond film.

Special mentions for:
A View to a Kill
Casino Royale
You Only Live Twice
The Spy Who Loved Me
Moonraker (just because it's hilarious)

On the basis that Sean Connery is the definitive Bond, and all the others are pale imitations, it has to be one of his. Goldfinger.

I thought nothing would beat Goldeneye, until I watched Skyfall.

Quantum had the potential (what an opening) but it sort of fizzled out - I put that down to the writers strike.

Craig has had some absolute belters during his tenure, long may it continue.
