NSC - split out discussion types into different forums?

Should NSC's Big Board be split into several smaller forums?

When football is of interest it naturally takes over from all the other stuff, even if it still goes on. I think it's great how it is.

seperate forums are f***ing wank - especially when pretentious people kick off about something being posted in the wrong section

Changing the subject slightly to bannings if I may?.

Could I suggest that rather than straight bannings, which seem to be open to moderators fits of pique or pet hates which other moderators may be more tolerant of, could a suspension system be put in place and then the ban enforced or rejected as other mods log on and have the chance to review?. Maybe have three mods to agree either way?

I don't think it should be split permanently, but I think it would be a good idea if we have more frequent occasional sections like with the Big Brother one.

For example, as someone else has suggested, a world cup section, or an election section, etc.

If you do split, I would suggest a Brighton and Hove Albion section.

I like it the way it is. Much better than other sites that have a hundred different and half empty forums. They're a pain in the arse navigating through too.

How about adding a Rumours section?

Apart from that, keep it as it is.

If it ain't broke, don't fix it. No change please.

With a slight caveat, I think a temporary separate World Cup forum might be an idea. Just to keep all the WC stuff together like.

No Bozza - don't fiddle with it as you types are want to do.... it's just fine as it is please... just because every other chat forum in the world separates their topics doesn't mean we have to! One stop shopping is what I like here...

Why seperate the World Cup stuff?

It's needed to keep some sanity on the big board surely! The only reason big brother got it's own forum was because it was cluttering the main board with something most people hated.
