Yes, unfortunately it's the neighbours'. Glad you like the entrance. Apparently, all straight paths that lead to a front door should be at right angles to the house. When I marked out the path it ended up missing the entrance so I came up with this configuration. I know you do this type of work so if you, or anyone else interested who may wish to see the whole story of this project so far can do so by looking here;

Slugs and snails a real problem here as you can see in the picture , anyone got a good deterrent other than poisions ?
