Not happy with Result tonight

Delighted for the players but this hanging on by our finger tips cost us dear last year and will do again this as last Saturday showed. The result should have been Brighton 2,3 or even 4 but not just 1. It's bloody infuriating we cannot put the game to bed and end up twinned with the Alamo as full time approaches. Nope, this is happening way too often Albion so I'd give the players a Mullery-Cloughie type bollocking in the dressing room tonight despite the win for shock value as those two past masters used to do when the players were expecting praise. We cannot keep doing this, GP surgeries across Sussex cannot cope for one. Sort it out Albion! :censored::rant:
Wolves weren't a bad side so I don't see why you think we should win by 3 or 4. It was a twitchy last few minutes but we bagged the three points. I'm happy.

You can't knock the result but the truth is it was a fine line between 3 points and a sh*t fest. I would rather spend the last 10 mins of a game trying to put it to bed rather than desperately defend it but our failure to add fire power comes at more of a cost than just scoring goals it seems.
Yes last season we were on a crest of a wave and made it work but teams wise up quickly we won't get away with that kinda thing so often this season. I am not enjoying inviting pressure to that degree whatsoever

What’s it called? Cumbernauld
a win over one of the most inconsistent teams in the division is not to be sniffed at they could beat most teams in the division with the frontline they have and the fact that we shut them out until the last few mins says we have plenty of character and because we are so miserly 1-0 is all thats needed

It felt like a cup tie and we were playing someone like Man Utd and holding on for the last five to get that shock result. Considering we had them in our pockets for 90 mins, that last 5 were a bit heart in mouth.

3 points & a clean sheet.
3 points off top spot.

I'm happy with the result.

2-0 not a better RESULT? Remember going to Middlesbrough just behind on goal difference? Hmm? Remember LAST Saturday? Can we not just kill these teams off when they're being utterly mauled? Brighton are like Bond villains - always giving 007 an over elaborated death when a fecking bullet to the head and heart will do. I have noticed this down the years and that's why he ALWAYS hatches an escape plan and survives / comes back to haunt them. It's not rocket science. We need to become ruthless, bang bang bang and it's all over for Visitors FC. Thanks for coming.

Brighton factually.....
See post #22. Dare I say it but you might be a dullard? No offence like...but you have kinda of proved my point :)

You know along with everyone else post 22 is not post 1 and you can back track all you want, I beg to differ and do think not happy with result is the same as not happy with a win because a win is the best possibly result unless you just want to steam roller teams which no team can do in this division game after game unless your Newcastle and have spent a shed load which we have not. You can be happier i.e. If we get promoted! And we know we don't if we concede so late as we do with alarming frequency because other teams lay siege to our goal with 15mins to go when we're only a single goal up.

SHOREHAM BY SEA
It's not fishing, wake up you Cod! Or have you forgotten Saturday already?!! We know what's needed to get out of this division and we know draws we're the death of us last season. We also know we're always the fecking bridesmaid historically so I'm calling for an end to these 80th min onwards, wrong end sieges + 45mins extra time, and instead call for outright annihilation of the opposition! It's typical of our club mentality to accept 1-nil as a good result just because we won. We should be kicking ourselves it wasn't more and by being bloody cross a la Cloughie and Mullery despite the win is I think a bit more in line with what we're missing. Big difference between that and 'moaning', in same way 'not happy with the result' isn't the same as not happy with a win. Plenty of dullards probably struggle with the differences I know but you get where I'm coming from :)

Wake up? Geez do likewise I was doing a favour by suggesting it was fishing...thread title not happy with result...we won...happier with a defeat or a draw? :moo:

Sometimes it's going to be about grinding out a result..that's the nature of the Championship...it happened tonight and it will happen again

I'm not pissed off with the result but wasn't too happy with the negativity from the players and the management for the last 20 minutes.

Not agile enough to move with the thread (like everyone else)? Dullhard...:goal:
