This is a tricky one to call, the Plucky Underdogs vs the Capitalist Running Dogs.

Our Oriental Chums say their missiles can reach the USA, although their previous says otherwise.

How do NSC see this panning out - do we need to bother about buying that Easter Sunday Joint or will we all be radioactive ash come tomorrow evening?

Meh, the USA would bomb them back to the stone age if they really had to.

Pointless really, they already live in the stone age

As David Aldridge has said:-

'It's a pointless discussion as it'll be a 2 punch fight, and we're throwing the second one'.

That B52 bomber should boss the midfield for the yanks.

Who's upfront for the North Koreans?
Could expose a weak American backbone!

League 1 at best. Their main attack fighter is from the mid 60's. Even the Pakistani air force has recently retired the same model.

Bollocks, the North Koreans won last time - this time they would win even more convincingly.

Even with the yanks' stealth bombers and jet fighters, I can't see them defeating an army of 25 million ....

They'll be less effective whilst cooking at 3000 degrees.

Did you know they have monthly nuclear bomb drills in Pyongyang.

This North Korea side is fully prepared for an American onslaught, and I suspect that they would get a few Chinese stars on loan too.

.....a lot less than last time plus all the Soviet loanees have been called back to their respective teams.

and where do you expect these 25 million to do their fighting?

Sorry silly question time but....... what would actually happen if NK set off these missles could USA destroy them whilst in the air? If so how what would happen?
Yes they would, and that'll be the last you'll see of NK.

They probably can't reach the mainland, but Pearl Harbour, Hawaii and Guam may well be in reach.

China are rapidly distancing themselves from NK, and Russia isn't going to go it alone on their behalf.

All of this is just saber rattling from the new guy as he's feeling his generals breathing down his neck.

Most likely scenario is they will have loaded a couple of their diesel subs with crude nukes and are now sitting quietly off the coast of the US waiting for orders. The missiles they have are just too unreliable.

Would they go ahead and attack the USA? This is North Korea - they really are nuts when it comes to this sort if thing. Sinking South Korean ships, shelling islands, etc just to try and provoke a response. so far the South and US have been restrained thankfully.

That is a very strong back line.

They're very weak up front though, no end product.

Relegation battle for the Koreans I'm afraid, unless the Chinese or Russians can bail them out with some emergency loan players.

3 points to the Yanks, which could book their European spot next season.

North Korea have 1700 aircraft, majority of it out of date.

USA has 5500 aircraft, majority of it cutting edge.

You do the maths.
