That's a very detailed summary of a single player. Do you keep notes on all of the starters and subs throughout the game to come to a conclusion on best and worst performers?

To be honest, I've previously skimmed your posts on the teams performances as don't find them particularly insightful and this hasn't changed my view.
I just watch the games. It’s not that difficult, particularly when that player is the one right in front of you for a half of each home game.

But fair enough. You’re entitled to an opinion 🤷‍♂️

Much, much less of an issue now Hinshelwood is back.

It actually solves the dilemma of where to play Jack. He need to be in the team for me but we are packed with quality centre midfielders and I'm still not convinced he's a better CM than RB anyway. He was class again on Saturday up against Southampton's only half decent attacker. He brings so much to our overall game and is a constant goal threat.

Having JH as RB also does that PG thing of adding tactical flexibility.
Estupinan replacing one of the front 5 and playing LB, Lamptey crossing to RB and Hinshelwood moving central seems an incredibly likely scenario.
Cashin or Dunk as an extra CB replacing a forward with Mitoma or Minteh becoming WB as Jack moves centrally another possibility to close out a game.

'Incredibly likely', except that Tariq has barely ever looked anywhere near good enough at RB

Against a team like Southampton, the headline of this thread just isn't the truth... Someone like Jack will obviously be more useful since he's the more creative and progressive player. Veltman solves situations, he doesn't create them.
Mind you, both Bournemouth and Newcastle are different beasts where Veltman may well be missed, unfortunately.

Yes. Veltman will be a big loss, despite the form of Tariq and Hinsh.

Huge performances needed from them in the next couple of weeks

Hinsh definitely looks like a midfielder doing a good job filling in at full back to me.

Just as we hadn't seemed to have suffered a new injury for a few days........ I've never known a season like this.

JH is only just back fit. We don't want to have to flog him and have him break down again, same goes for Lamptey.

Fully expecting the "Welback out for a month" headline next.

Is anyone really BYEING this STOREY about an injury? It's PLANE to see there's BEAN a bustup between FAB and JULES Veltman at SUM point. He SEAMS to fall OUT with all the SENOR players in the squad.

No. Me neither.

Yeh, I think there will have to be rotation of Hinsh, Tariq and Pervis in the full back positions and we just pray to god, none of them get injured.

I guess the beneficiary will be Ayari or Gomez who will find it easier to get a CM position with Hinsh covering in defence
