You've literally prove your own point wrong about var being a hopeless mess, Var is fine it's the idiots using it that's the problem
But, knowing that there are idiots running it and knowing this is unlikely to change any time soon, we're better off just binning VAR off completely aren't we?

I mean if we're going to have s*** officials, let's just get accept that the on field reffing team will get most stuff wrong, and at least we can have a game where they get things wrong quickly rather than taking ages to reach equally terrible decisions

I don't like to be a sore loser but, when the same chap smacks it in the net to take 2 points, I want to wring someone's neck. In the nicest possible way. Why was my thread title changed too? I am sure I put the word blatant in it.

they never will, but sincerely hope the club requests that salisbury be kept as far away as possible from all our future games. abysmal referee, no idea how he’s managed to con his way into the premier league

I merged two threads on the same subject - which title remains is just a coin toss. Sorry.

I just looked up the laws and you are correct, “dangerous play” isn’t necessarily a red.

But serious foul play is, and I believe the elbow on Gross satisfies the conditions below.

SERIOUS FOUL PLAY

A tackle or challenge that endangers the safety of an opponent or uses excessive force or brutality must be sanctioned as serious foul play.
Nice homework Herr T 👍

Wondered what had happened in WSU when Pascal was rolling around. After watching the highlights on the concourse just cannot understand how it wasn't a red. VAR should have been all over it as the intent was definitely there

This incident was after he’d scored wasn’t it…? Or is the time in the original clip wrong?

Absolutely this
Today was serious foul play and he should have gone

The time on the clip is when they showed a replay. It appears to have happened in the 58th min, if the incident is what Sky are calling a clumsy challenge looking back on the match commentary. I must admit at the time of the incident I didn't really notice it from the West Upper but as soon as I got home my youngest mentioned they should have had a red card.
