Noticed that Ipswich had something like 5 English players in the first team. Don’t expect any of them to actually play for England so a bit irrelevant really.

Liam Delap definitely will - he’ll probably be in the next squad.

Omari Hutchinson probably will. Leif Davis might.

I don’t want to come across all Farage, I’m just interested, so back to this question.

Was yesterday the first time our starting eleven didn’t feature an English or British player? Yes, I’m aware Webdini was a second half substitute.

Pretty funny that this happened when the new England boss was there for the first time, although I appreciate he probably wasn't there for us anyway.

We should probably focus on their footballing abilities, rather than their looks.

Yes but at the moment Kane is nailed on, Solanke is coming good, Bowen was in great form before injury. Lief Davis has possibly got a chance at Left Back. I don’t want to put down any English players. It just makes Southgate narrative of not enough English players in the Premier League sound so much bollox. There are loads if only he had looked.
