No Boundaries - The Expedition

Only just seen this thread thanks to Simsters thread about stickies. I'll also buy half a kit if someone will do the same, just let me know how. Who fancies it?

would it be better to buy the equiptment in India where it will cost less? if you can get the same kit (-the "kwik cricket" brand) in India for £10 instead of £40 that will go alot further, and provide income for local businesses in the areas which you are travelling to.
just an idea....

Ditto. Thanks, Folkestone. The Indian Cricket Board are hard to get hold of.

I think it is an ECB initiative, so they may be the best contact to talk things through.

Once again, thanks to everyone for their support, kind words and ideas. Much appreciated!

Just a little up date on whats going on.
SCAD, the NGO we shall be working with, are up for the idea and we're waiting to hear back from them about when would be a good time to go and exactly what sports/cricket gear would be most usefull.
We've got ourselves an accountant who specialises in charities and he is going to help us free of charge (he supports Reading and is the captain of my cricket team)
We've got the domain name and as soon as we've heard back from SCAD we'll get the web site up and running.

So keep checking back and we'll do an anouncement when it's all set to go for real.

Cheers all for your comments and support.
