Brexit on the way, four more years of Boris, it's such fun seeing the muppets on here constantly crying and turning almost every thread into a political one, whilst knowing there's f*** all they can do about it. Pillocks without a mind of their own that believe everything they see on the BBC, Channel 4 and in The Guardian. Brexit is bad, Boris is bad, patriotism is bad, England and English culture is bad. Turkeys voting for Christmas. Thank God this board is no reflection of the UK in general. Thank God for Nigel.

Agree with you. The Islington Borough of Brighton is NO reflection to the rest of Sussex. Indeed with National Sussex Day next week - we should put a border around Brighton & Hove - you are no longer Sussex worthy.
Sussex & the Country voted last year - 80 seat majority thank you & the lefties (how many of them actually on this site have a permanent job in the private sector - less than 20% I reckon, can run around graffiti our city, screaming at statues & littering the place - as for the rest of us ..... we are getting on with real life outside your enclaves - We are the Real Sussex

Sounds like a plan. Of course they should pay for the privilege, but shouldn’t clearly have access to any outside support, Brighton and hove is too big, so let’s just make it woodingdean with a very large electrified fence in case the pesky undesirables try and get out ... oh let’s make them wear a badge .... a green star maybe or even better a yellow one as it will be easier to see ....

The real Sussex is diverse in political opinion, like practically everywhere else.
The 'rogue Sussex' claims to represent the 'real Sussex' and nurtures hatred of diversity.
That's fascism for you........

Can I disagree with you, yet still be of the view that you're a good egg and are one of the most humorous posters on NSC?
And do you want a bet on whether Johnson lasts for four more years? On which, if it's all going so swimmingly well and Brexit will turn out so delightfully, why not extend those four years well into the future?

It was actually 28% of the eligible electorate. And given that 50% of the electorate are more stupid than the average person, Cummings certainly knew that figure and focused on it.

A whole election campaign in three words, but you wouldn't want to confuse your 'target market'

Don't forget Sky and ITV I've all their fault too, maybe Nige might get a gig on RT.

Classic Tim Brooke-Taylor Goodies rant, can see you in your Union Jack waistcoat banging your desk as you say this while a large pic of Her Majesty hangs on the wall behind!

"Pillocks without a mind of their own" Ha! that is hilarious mate. Let's see over the next few years where the populist guff of the likes of Farage and Johnson that you've obviously swallowed hook, line and sinker gets us.

Less than 50% of the country voted Conservative

TBF Bognor Seagull was referring to Sussex. In Sussex the Conservatives received over 50% of the total votes cast.

Sussex:

Conservative : 50.3% P 16 W 13 L3

Labour : 24.9% P 16 W 2 L 14

Lib Dems : 16.9% P 15 W 0 L 15

Green: 6.89% P 14 W 1 L 13

Brexit: 0.5% P 4 W 0 L 4

In football terms:

(C) Conservatives 39 PTS

You may recall the survey which was carried out in 2017 which asked the fans of Premier League clubs how they voted in the EU Referendum. We were top (or bottom) depending on your viewpoint, with 81% Remain, 19% Leave. So, it's pretty obvious that BHAFC fans are NOT representative of the UK in general.

A Millwall fan straying onto NSC might be forgiven in thinking they've accidentally clicked on the Guardian comments section :D

Anyone would think you are signaling that you prefer their racism. Shirley knot? ???

Thank God most people on here have got more sense than you. People who read the Guardian and watch Channel 4 News more likely do so BECAUSE they have a mind of their own and don't lap up the tosh that Garage expounds and the twisted bile of the Mail and the Express.

Nah people usually choose the news sources that reflect their world view/prejudices be it the Daily Mail or the Guardian. Although from reading posts on here Guardian readers/ Channel 4 fans are more likely to believe there is only one correct, acceptable world view and everyone else is stupid for not thinking the same.

Well obviously not as bright as an ardent Unionist who gets conned into voting for an Irish Sea border ???

Funny how he had the second highest listening figures behind Ferrari. Where does that put Dale and O'Brien and the others then? Oh....sorry....I didn't realise....he had one of the two best slots on the network.....silly me.

The xenophobic shock jock ran out of lives, following equally divisive and unpleasant Hopkins and Galloway.

Have you got a link to that please?
