The whining on social media from Reform about the number of seats they got versus the LD's is incredible.

There's millions of racists in Britain, the problem Reform there are only 5 places in the UK where 30%+ of them exist.

Maybe FPTP isn't so bad after all, it keeps extremists to a minimum in our democracy across the political spectrum, far left and far right.

This is going to be fun.
Jonathan Reynolds in an interview has stated that Labour are ‘going after Reform’ because their stance on Ukraine is pro Putin and not in the interest of the UK.
Not messing around so what odds that they have either seen the Brexit report or have some very tasty info on Reform.

Agreed. If he said this in an interview for the public domain two days in, it is going to be correct.

We need FPTP to maintain the status quo. It is important to protect privileged self interest, maintain rabid anti- semitism and allow the passive and feeble minded to vote the same way as all previous generations in their families.

Agree. A system that keeps racist, xenophobic and homophobic candidates out is a good one. And I don't recall Farage or Tice taking time out from immigrant bashing in the GE campaign to put forward a persuasive case for electoral reform. They are like clubs who finish third in the EFL and then the lose in the play offs complaining about how unfair it all is. Them's the rules, campaign to change them before not after.

There’s a story bubbling under the surface with Reform that a number of their candidates in the election quite simply didn’t exist

hope Bylinetimes and others are going to follow up with proper research, evidence and report to Electoral Commission. if there's a real incidence of fake candidates, it's election fraud and would seriously damage Reform. if they are real people it's going to help Reform's claims of victimisation, even if they're paper candidates, filing to stand but not active.

I wouldn’t be surprised ifLabour already have plenty that could damage them. Obviously they won’t have wanted to use it during an election campaign where their popularity was splitting the right-wing vote though!

Someone reminded me that all MP's have to list their various cash streams and benefits in kind on the Register of Member's Interests.... could be fun finding out where Farage has had his sticky fingers.

You couldn't be more wrong, our friend was a big cheerleader for Brexit and Boris, but just seems to be in denial and angry at everything these days
